Washington County Fair

First up, we have the Washington County Fair at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. This event has been a staple since 1871, offering music, educational exhibits by 4-H and FFA members, delicious fair food, carnival rides, and so much more.

"Romeo & Juliet" at Rustic Roots Winery

Next, let's talk about a magical evening at Rustic Roots Winery in Scandia, Minnesota. Frosted Glass Creative presents "Romeo & Juliet," a classic Shakespearean skit while overlooking a beautiful vineyard at dusk. Arrive early for a glass of wine or a bite to eat.

Gopher to Badger Half Marathon

For all the runners out there, the Gopher to Badger Half Marathon is happening on August 10th. Starting in Stillwater, Minnesota, and finishing in Hudson, Wisconsin, runners will cross the St. Croix River over the I-94 bridge.

Bridge the Valley - Bike Rally

Cyclists, mark your calendars for August 11th! The Bridge the Valley Bike Rally is back for its 3rd annual event. This epic ride starts and finishes in historic downtown Stillwater, Minnesota, with five route options ranging from 10 miles to a 75-mile Gravel Challenge.

Summer Arts Camp 2024

Parents, if you're looking for something fun and educational for your kids this summer, check out the Summer Arts Camp at The Phipps. This camp runs throughout August, offering dance, theater, and visual arts classes for preschoolers, kids, and teens.

Develop skills, grow the imagination, and build friendships. Mix and match different art forms to create a unique Summer Arts Camp experience for your child.

Yoga in the Vines

For a more relaxing experience, join us for Yoga in the Vines at Saint Croix Vineyards in Stillwater, Minnesota. Enjoy a 60-minute all-levels vinyasa flow practice led by Sarah Cherry, followed by a glass of wine.

Live Music Shoutout for this month: Thor’s Hard Cider Taproom

Thor’s Hard Cider Taproom at Aamodts Apple Farm in Stillwater, Minnesota, is the place to be every Saturday in August. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, enjoy live music while sipping on handcrafted cider made right there at the farm.
