With July just around the corner, we’re gearing up for one of the most exciting times of the year – the 4th of July! It's a time for fireworks, barbecues, and celebrating with friends and family. But that’s not all! Today, we’re also diving into all the fantastic events happening in the St. Croix Valley throughout July.

Dinner Cruise to Stillwater Fireworks - July 4th

Experience the magic of Fourth of July fireworks from a unique vantage point on the St. Croix River.

This dinner cruise offers a delicious buffet featuring chicken and ribs, along with vegetables, potatoes, salad, and dessert. Enjoy the beautiful views of the river as you dine and watch the night sky light up with fireworks. There’s a bar on board for cocktails and beverages to enhance your evening.

Stillwater Lumberjack Days 2024 – 90th Anniversary

Celebrate the 90th anniversary of Lumberjack Days, a historic event that honors the rich logging history of the region.

The festival includes lumberjack shows, live music, local food vendors, and various family-friendly activities. Enjoy the thrilling lumberjack competitions, arts and crafts, and a variety of entertainment options throughout the day.

Lumberjack Days Parade 2024

Hosted by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce Foundation, this parade is a highlight of the Lumberjack Days weekend.

Enjoy the festive atmosphere as floats, bands, and community groups march along the original parade route. It’s a great way to experience local culture and celebrate the community spirit.

Stillwater Flea & Crafter Market

This popular market has been a community favorite for 11 years, featuring around 200 vendors and crafters.

Explore a wide range of items including antiques, art, clothing, jewelry, food trucks, arts and crafts, and fresh produce. It’s a fantastic opportunity to find unique treasures and support local artisans. The event is held at the Washington County Fairgrounds, easily accessible just south of Hwy 36 on Hwy 15 (Stillwater Blvd).

St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon

This half marathon showcases the scenic beauty of the St. Croix Valley, featuring tree-lined roads, picturesque farms, and the stunning Loop Trail between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The course is fully paved and finishes at the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge in downtown Stillwater. It’s a perfect event for both experienced runners and those looking to challenge themselves with a half marathon. The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon is part of the 5-race Run Stillwater series.

Summer Tuesdays: Outdoor Movies and Music

Enjoy a relaxed evening with an outdoor market, live music, and movies by the riverfront.

The market features a variety of vendors offering food, crafts, and more, opening at 5:00 PM. Live music performances run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, setting the perfect backdrop for a summer evening. As the sun sets, settle in for a free movie screening approximately 10 minutes after sunset. Bring a chair, pillow, blanket, or just yourself, and don’t forget your well-behaved, leashed dogs.
