Rehab Corner: Featuring Dave & Sue's Stunning Balsam Lake Cottage Makeover
Welcome back to our monthly 'Rehab Corner' series! Last time, we shared how we transformed our cottage on a budget, highlighting one of our favorite DIY features: a wrapped beam that added a modern, welcoming touch to our space. This month, we're thrilled to spotlight our friends Dave and Sue, who recently completed a breathtaking rehab of their own Balsam Lake cabin.
Inspired by our wrapped beam project, Dave and Sue decided to update the lower half of their cabin by removing the ceiling to create a more open and airy feel. They wrapped beams and added wood against the walls, bringing warmth and rustic charm to the space. To complete the transformation, they painted everything, ensuring a fresh and cohesive look throughout.
The end result is nothing short of spectacular, as shown in our latest video update. Dave and Sue's cabin now offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, ideal for both relaxing getaways and entertaining friends.
